This last weekend I went up to Canada for a friends wedding. My friend, Patti, who was getting married used to work on my team, so my teammates and I all drove up to Lethbridge, Canada to celebrate with her. The wedding day consisted of an über private dawn wedding, (Patti and Mike, two witnesses and the priest). Then in the early afternoon we took our pinwheels and marched (30 minutes) down the coolies to the river bottom where Patti and Mike had a faux ceremony. (P.S. Steep terrain + walking boot = not the easiest terrain to navigate.) After that, we gathered together at the Gem of the West Museum (which we decorated the day before) for dinner, dancing, a talent show and waffles. It was awesome. If anyone happens to find themselves in Lethbridge, I highly recommend hitting up this delightful museum! All-in-all, it was a fabulous weekend with fabulous friends.
